Experimental Campaign Update

Our project partners have officially launched testing on the original steel racks. Characterization is currently underway across three partner institutions:

• UPC: Characterizing beam-to-upright and upright-to-base plate connections.

• Polimi: Conducting shear tests on upright-brace frames.

• RWTH Aachen: Performing cyclic and monotonic tests on rotary and axial friction devices.

Specimen Deliveries Underway

Our industrial partners have begun delivering components for the three rack configurations scheduled for testing during the SAVERACK project.
